Stray dogs face many difficulties that life on the street imposes on a daily basis. Searching for food and finding a shelter where they can sleep are their priorities. Not to mention saving yourself from the aggressions of other animals. When a master decides to abandon his pet he is aware that he is leading it to certain death. A dog used to staying at home will suffer more from all this suffering. The discovery of a mother with her puppies inside a cardboard box immediately aroused alarm. Who could have done such a thing?
The incident took place in the Roibeiras recreation area , in Mugardos, Spain. The discovery of a mother dog with her nine newborn puppies in a cardboard box aroused sadness and dismay in passers-by. They clearly needed help. They immediately warned the local police who consequently informed the Supra-municipal Emergency Group (GES) for the removal of the animals.
It was necessary to understand if some dog had escaped from the shelter or it was some unscrupulous person who voluntarily abandoned his pregnant dog to give birth alone.
When the rescuers arrived, they immediately helped the dog and her puppies by taking them away from the box they were in. Transported to the shelter, safe from the dangers and bad weather of the time, they immediately fed their mother who was malnourished. Meanwhile, the puppies were being nursed.
Many people who had noticed the animals in that state of difficulty had already shown interest in adopting them. But first it was necessary to give the puppies time to be breastfed by their mother. Luckily all the dogs were fine. They were just tired of that situation.
Now we needed to understand who could have carried out such a gesture. In fact they understood that it was a pet. The Police are investigating the matter so that similar actions are no longer carried out.
