Besides food and adequate shelter, they have to worry about keeping their babies safe. One stray dog gave birth near a shop, and the owner wasn’t happy. He tried to chase her away, but when he got frustrated with her for not leaving, he resorted to violence.
The poor mama dog, determined to protect her newborns, took her puppies and sought refuge beneath an unstable building. The structure, teetering on the brink of collapse, offered her a fragile sense of security, so she stayed there for as long as she could. When a rescue group learned of her plight, they recognized the urgency of the situation and knew they had to take action.
Locating the mother dog was the first challenge, but they had to devise a plan that wouldn’t frighten her away. Any sudden movement could potentially destabilize the building, endangering all inside. The rescuers decided to brace the structure with PVC piping and proceeded cautiously, carefully extracting the puppies one by one.
Mama dog looked frightened and bewildered, but there was no alternative – they had to save these precious lives. With great care, the first puppy was pulled out, and the process continued until all seven were safe. Only then could they focus on rescuing Mama.

The next step was to transport them to a vet clinic, where Mama and her puppies would receive the care they so desperately needed.
