Clear Skies аһeаd: wіtпeѕѕ the Hydrotherapy Journey of a Baby Elephant on the Road to Recovery

Clear Sky, an adventurous five-month-old elephant, is breaking new ground as the first to undergo hydrotherapy at an animal hospital just outside Bangkok.

Named Clear Sky, in anticipation of the healing support she requires, the young elephant resides at Nooch Nooch Tropical Garden under the compassionate care of director Kampon Tansacha.

Having lost part of her foot to a snare, Clear Sky is now engaged in hydrotherapy to safely strengthen her muscles, guided by the expertise of veterinarians.

In her second water therapy session, Clear Sky still hesitates, as veterinarian Padet Siridumrong noted in an interview with AFP.

Since being separated from her mother in the wild, Clear Sky has made significant progress. Discovered by villagers in urgent need of milk and with an injured foot, she underwent surgery upon arrival at the zoo.

Now, with her wound healed, there is optimism that Clear Sky may soon regain the ability to walk without relying on an artificial leg.

“Baby elephants generally adore water,” shared Siridumrong with AFP. “If she continues with this therapy regularly, she is bound to find a lot of joy in the process.”
