Lions chase and kill a kudu in the middle of the road

In the Kruger National Park, two male lions ᴋɪʟʟed a kudu and then continued to devour it for nearly 30 minutes between a line of automobiles. Two male lions ᴋɪʟʟ a kudu right in the middle of a row of cars on the H1 road in the Kruger National Park, which runs between Orpen Gate and Satara Camp.

Multiple pictures of the lions devouring the kudu were captured by a British student by the name of Carrie Dunford. In order to observe two lions crossing a road while stopping every few meters to mark their territory, Dunford had pulled up beside the road.

As soon as the lion spotted the kudu standing in the undergrowth, it began stalking it. The kudu tried to run away when it spotted the lion, but it slipped on the tar between the cars. The kudu slipped in the path and was still attempting to get its feet under it when a lion ambushed it from behind, according to Dunford’s essay for Africa Geographic.

There was no escaping once the second lion grabbed it by the throat. Both lions quickly ᴋɪʟʟed the kudu after they caught it. Before dragging the carcass into the bushes, the lions grazed on it for thirty minutes. The ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀ had come quickly and without warning. For those who were fortunate enough to see such an opportunistic ʜᴜɴᴛ, it was a once-in-a-lifetime sighting.
