Two mixed-breed dogs were found in a nearby park, but the fact that one of the canines couldn’t get up moved those who saved them.
Grace, who didn’t even have the strength to get up, was very physically weak, so her partner chose her to keep her warm.
“Lyla came up to me, tail wagging, but she closed her eyes like she thought she was going to get nothing,” Harper said.
The dogs had recently been injured and when they evaluated them they realized that they were only 2 years old and had been brutally exploited. However, the dog in critical condition is Gracie.
They both began therapy and Gracie expressed excitement and even wanted to play with her rescuer for a moment while he was still supine. Even though she had a long way to go, she remained peaceful and non-aggressive. After a few days, she regained her strength.
According to Harper, they really care about the connection, but aren’t sure how to proceed.
They were able to overcome it since they both had medical support.
