Birds often prevail in encounters with snakes. But it can also lose its life to poisonous snakes, because just one hit from the snake will paralyze the bird.
A large poisonous snake took advantage of the moment the parent bird left the nest to sneak in and eat the baby bird. Fortunately, when the mother bird returned, the snake had not yet eaten the baby bird.
