Several rescue organizations online have highlighted this specific dog. A woɱaп happened upon him and chose to take a photograph, subsequently sharing it on her Facebook page.
Our furry friend belongs to the amstaff family. Unfortunately, he is presently immobilized and can only maintain an upright posture. We have no clue as to what led him to this sad state of affairs. It could be possible that he got hit by a bullet while being in a forest-dwelling community.
What a lovely dog, his tail just keeps on wagging. It seems his ears were once cropped, indicating that he had an owner who did this and then abandoned him.
Meet Alphonzo, a poor soul suffering from a tumor as evident from the x-rays. This ugly growth has caused his leg to become misshapen and emit an unpleasant odor. Unsurprisingly, he’s in a great deal of pain.
The vet will conduct further examinations like blood work, testing, chest x-ray, and a CT scan to check for any metastasis. Additionally, the dog will most likely need to undergo a leg amputation.
He’s constantly wagging his tail and showing love to everyone he meets. Besides that, his healthy appetite is a good sign of his well-being.
The medical team conducted a chest x-ray and found out that no metastasis has occurred. The patient is currently receiving intravenous treatment and will undergo a leg amputation. Despite being anemic, the operation needs to be carried out immediately without further delay.
After undergoing a lengthy surgery, Alphonzo had to have one of his front legs amputated due to a massive tumor weighing 6 kilograms. Despite the challenges, he was able to overcome the surgery and make a full recovery. He left the clinic just four days later and is currently thriving under the care of Merima, who is not only a vet nurse but also his private foster parent. Although he is anemic, his health can be improved by providing him with proper nutrition and vitamins. Alphonzo has shown that he is a true fighter who can overcome any obstacle in his path.
After undergoing a challenging surgery, he is now expected to lead a normal and joyful life. Our wish is that he will eventually be adopted by someone who will cherish him just as much as they do themselves.
It’s been a good month for Alphonzo, and he’s doing exceptionally well. His wound is healing nicely, and there haven’t been any issues. Alphonzo is a lovable dog who enjoys the company of huɱaпs, kids, and other dogs. Surprisingly, he doesn’t mind cats either!
he’ll be fixed. He’s playful and loves to cuddle, and he’s also house-trained, which is a plus. When the spaying and neutering program becomes available again, we plan to have him fixed. He’s a fun-loving puppy who enjoys snuggles and attention, and he’s already trained to use the bathroom correctly.
It would be wonderful if this child could find a loving home soon. He is grateful for all the help he has received, and I want to thank Meri and Franjo for taking such good care of him!
