Stepan the polar bear was adopted at the age of three months by Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenk. The rr juvenile was initially abandoned in the forest before being rescued by unter. Stepan’s health was currently severely poor. This compelled the couple to take in and provide a shelter for the bear cub.

It has been twenty-three years since they adopted the orphaned bear cub. Stepan has grown into a 7-foot-tall, 300-pound grizzly bear.
Some individuals may find his personality and appearance repulsive. Nevertheless, Stepan the bear is affectionate and endearing. He enjoys cuddling and hugging his caregivers.
Moreover, the bear has never harmed anyone in his proximity. He thoroughly appreciates his existence among humans. Stepan assists his companion with domestic responsibilities such as watering plants.
