Pick of Day: 1933 Ford Roadster

Completed in 2021, this Ford is powered by a Mustang Cobra-spec 5.0-liter V8 engine with an automatic transmission. Features include air conditioning, TCI Air Spring chassis and Wise Guys power bucket seats. This 1933 Ford is available now from a dealer with service documentation and a rebuilt Kentucky title.

The steel body and fenders are finished in Smoke Silver with green top and interior. Features include amber front turn signals, four-piece hood and American Arrow greyhound hood ornament. Additional items include a folding green cloth convertible top with glass backlite, power-actuated rumble seat, and chrome grille, headlight buckets and dual chrome taillight housings.

A set of Dayton wire wheels with green rims, stainless steel spokes, and chrome center caps is wrapped in Toyo Versado radials.

The power-operated Wise Guys bucket seats, rumble seat, door panels and trim are upholstered in green leather. Complementary features include green carpeting and center console with floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, plus Southern Air climate control and tilt steering column.

A 140-mph speedometer, 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature and voltage are mounted in a billet aluminum panel. The Ridetech Air Ride suspension system control is located in the center console below the dashboard. The odometer reads 62 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

Power is provided by a Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0-liter V8 with dual exhausts, with shifting chores handled by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include a smoothed and recessed body-color firewall, chrome valve covers, Walker radiator, March Performance serpentine pulley system, “block hugger” headers and several polished items like air conditioning compressor.

The underside is smoothed and painted to complement the exterior. The TCI Air Spring chassis is equipped with an independent front suspension, chrome Mustang II-style upper and lower control arms, chromed items like shock absorbers, and polished items like stainless fuel tank. The chassis, rear-axle housing, driveshaft and more are finished in green.
